Some of our events will have rides for small children, depending on city by-laws and regulations.

There are no pre-purchase tickets required for entry. Although, there is a small admissions fee at most events.

Most of our venues accommodate free parking, however, certain venues will have city paid lots surrounding the location. Please visit the individual location page for details.
The BBQ Teams are supplied with all Canadian produced ribs and other meat.
The BBQ Teams sell different types of ribs. All will sell pork ribs and some will also offer beef ribs.
Northern Heat Rib Series is a locally operated festival group that originated in 2016.
Most vendors accept all forms of payment (cash, debit & credit). However, some smaller vendors may only accept cash. There are 2 ATMs located on site at each event.
No. All vendors will accept cash payments.
Yes! Dogs are allowed at Northern Heat Ribfest events. We kindly ask that you keep your dogs on a leash, clean up after it and place all poop bags in the designated garbage bins provided by us. Each dog owner will be asked to complete a simple ‘Pet-Waiver’ to assume responsibility for their pets actions and release NH for any incidents that may occur. You can complete the form here.

A half rack of pork ribs is $19.00 and a full rack of pork is $33.00. Beef ribs vary based on market price.

There are some vegetarian and vegan options, depending on vendors attending specific events. However, selection is limited.
Northern Heat Ribfest vendors offer a variety of food options for all attendees. Rib Teams also will sell other types of meat such as chicken and a variety of sides. Everything from corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, burgers, and hot dogs to cotton candy, candy apples, donuts and popcorn.
